Frequently Asked Questions

What are the learning options?

Today, there are three learning options: Groups, Classes & Workshops.

What are groups?

Groups are small regular gatherings for the purpose of intentional discipleship around a particular topic or area of intended growth. They happen on a weekly basis, led by an elder or church leader, with a small group of persons who will attend regularly together. They are designed to be close, intimate, safe spaces to grow together in sanctification, accountability, encouragement and community.

What are classes?

Classes are seasonal, interactive courses designed to equip us to follow Jesus Christ. Each class typically spans 7-10 weeks and generally covers one of the following topics: Systematic Theology, Biblical Theology or Practical Theology. They usually make use of either video series or printed workbooks to help guide participants through the material.

What are workshops?

Workshops are one-night sessions offered periodically throughout the year. Workshops exist to provide a venue for teaching, open dialogue and questions about the practical implications of our faith in our day-to-day lives today. Workshop topics typically accompany the current sermon series and are a venue to help people wrestle through the questions they may have on a given topic.
